Bootlegs Part 18
A bit of delay since my last comic, due to my comic photography space being converted for several days into a recovery room for a neighborhood cat who we captured and took to get spayed. I’m happy to say the kitty is all recovered and back to her outdoor stomping grounds, and the comic is back is business!
– This is not an official LEGO comic. This is a tribute. Nor is it related to Best-Lock.

Hmmm, I’ve had similar existensial thoughts in relation time travellers (rather than clones) changing the past. How there could be a massive time-war (not necessarily the Doctor Who kind) where history keeps being radically altered and we’d never know because we’d only be aware of the immediate “present”, whatever that may be. Microseconds ago the universe could have been totally different, and unless we are a time-traveller, we’d never know! I lie awake at night and ponder these things.
Also, excellent job re. capturing the feral cat and having her spayed. There are too many unwanted kittens in the world.
I know exactly what you mean regarding time travel (and other such thoughts). How would you know? It can be maddening if you get too far into it!
I have to stock up on photos this week, since in seven days we have an appointment to have this cat’s sister spayed, too! I guess I’d describe them as semi-feral. We’ve known them since they were a few weeks old and their mother stationed the family in a crawlspace in our building. The kittens drove the Mom off when they got older (some gratitude!) and have remained as a pair in the same territory for almost a year. We feed them and they will come into the apartment for hours at night and follow us around, but do not allow us to pet them or pick them up. We gave up on them becoming our house pets, but still want to keep caring for them. So we decided to get them fixed before they multiply.
I love how Schwartz just turned an old sci-fi cliche on its head for the sheer sake of tormenting his dearest friend.
