Okay, so here’s a peek into how nutso I am. Nine years and about 400 comics ago, reader Tim essentially asked (during a Q&A with Schwartz) what would happen in comic #793. Gazing into his crystal ball, Schwartz revealed it would depict his epic battle with Dracula. I absolutely pulled this answer out of my ass. But for nearly a decade, I knew that no matter what was going on in the comic at the time, I had to make sure I upheld this crucial piece of continuity. The good news is, I also wanted to revisit the Spadowskis. But nonetheless, here is comic #793, here is Schwartz’s (epic?) battle with Dracula, and yes, I wrote a whole story to make that event happen. Are you even still reading, Tim? Promise fulfilled. Whether it was expected or not!

And yes, to accommodate the fact that the Monster Hunters Haunted House didn’t even exist yet when I made this prediction, the original preview panel is included as Dracula’s “vision,” which doesn’t match up 100% to the actual reality. (It was shot on LEGO Kingdoms Escape from Dragon’s Prison (#7187), a set I sold off long ago.)

— This is not an official LEGO comic. This is a tribute. Recommended for older kids and adults.
