Sometimes I find out long after I completed the photos for a comic that several shots were messed up, either blurry or bad lighting or a gross hair (and I have really long hair) or cat hair–there’s so much cat hair here–wandered into the shot. The last thing I want to do is go back and reshoot. So then I end up adjusting or cropping to try and salvage the photos (which are photographed to match the script, so I need ’em to tell the story). In today’s case, I thought it ended up working rather well in terms of conveying mood and shook up my standard format a bit.
