Back Under The Old Management
The Brick Comic Network posted an interview with yours truly yesterday, just in time to coincide with all the current wackiness going down in the comic. Any potential new readers clicking through are sure to be hella confused!
I guess if you’re starring in your own show, you get to cast yourself. And I picked Fujiko Mine from Lupin III to play me. Because I must love her so much, I want to be her. Uhh…
Yes, I also bought one of those girly new LEGO “Friends” sets. I have a use in mind for it beyond this page.
Anyway, hope you enjoyed my bizarre take on a Valentine’s Day comic!
– This is not an official LEGO comic. This is a tribute.

Ahhhhhh! All becomes clear. And yes, you were convincing.
As for your choice of self-insert figure… um… yeah… whatever makes you feel good.
Oh, I didn’t actually think you were under new management though, I just didn’t connect it to the Drunk Duck thing.
There seemed to be some question or maybe confusion in other realms. But perhaps I didn’t connect the Drunk Duck thing to my “removal” as clearly as I could have.
I feel pretty, oh so pretty! So pretty and happy and… Um…. Nevermind.
Well, I’m relieved! I was afraid this was gonna turn into a full-on snark-war between the talent and “the management” and there would be no survivors. Situations like this are why there should be a sarcasm punctuation mark.
And what kinda weirdo uses a hot cartoon girl for his avatar? Er, I mean… hey, stop looking at my Gravatar! (I just wanna be pretty, too.)
Man, I was laughing yesterday with Batbricks’ guest strip, but this one just pushes it over the edge! Game brilliantly played, sir. XD
