Bono gets knocked for his humanitarian efforts, as people seem to view him as self-righteous. But he certainly does more than most of us have ever done in that realm and has the recognition and ability to do it. I might be biased since I love U2, of course.
The Gods of Rock
Queen was the first rock band I really got into. If there’s some sadness coming through in this, it’s my own. Lego Freddie has appeared in the comic before.

If you’ve even listened to David Lee Roth talk in an interview or on his short-lived, recent radio show, you’ve likely realized that he’s very intelligent and has a sharp sense of humor, but tends to prattle on and on until you wonder what in the heck he’s going on about. In fact, the story’s he’s telling Schwartz in this comic is almost verbatim from an interview he did a few years ago, only he was a surgical janitor in the real story!

I discovered the Boss very late, when my uncle, a long-time fan, took me to see Bruce Springsteen play an acoustic show in Trenton in 2005. I became hooked, and was thrilled to finally see Bruce play with the E Street Band last year. I had never before experienced such energy at a rock show; it’s practically a religious experience. Bruce has the audience in the palm of his hand, his charisma extending across the entire stadium. It’s no wonder he’s called the Boss.
