Good lord, I looked back at my files and realized I shot “Blank Attack” (a reference to Queen’s song “Dragon Attack”) back in 2008! The years are zooming by, and the plot is… NOT.

I bought this set in a CVS drug store a few years ago and intended to create this very review, then never got around to it and decided against making fun of BEST-LOCK yet again. I even “awarded” the set to loyal reader Karsin Eng as a consolation prize when he just missed out on the larger “War of the Planets” set I was offering first-come, first-serve. But seconds before I shipped it out, I paused to take a few photos… and well, I never let photos go to waste. Sorry, BEST-LOCK!

The “President Weiss” statue is a LEGO Classic Spaceman LED Key Light that I purchased a few years back at Toys “R” Us when they were still in business (before going out of and then back IN business). I believe the figures came in red, white and blue. I intended the flashlight for this very use in the comic, but then I misplaced it for some time and was statue-less! To my horror, I found that the light was no longer made and only the red and blue versions could be found from secondhand sellers. Apparently, the white version is super-rare. THANKFULLY, it turned up after I practically tore down my apartment searching for it. It’s too bad the LED Key Lights didn’t come in black, although Schwartz might get delusions of grandeur.
